Superstition Mountains Backpacking - Miner's Passage

Hiking from one side to the other - seeing it all!

The Superstition Mountains hold many secrets.  It's the historical stomping grounds of native peoples through milennia. Today you will meet your guides and fellow travelers at our host hotel in Scottsdale. After brief introductions, we will load into our van and transfer to the Roger's Trough trail head where we will begin our backpacking trip. Your guide will distribute any rental gear and give a safety briefing and then we start our hike! The route into Angel Basin begins on an established undulating trail.  There will be various creekbed crossings (some may be wet) so sturdy shoes or hiking boots are required.  We'll take breaks along the way, finally arriving at our destination.  We'll cruise into camp and relax around the campfire (when permitted) and talk about our day and what's in store for the next few days.
